Casino Rewards Group's Canadian Brands Explained for 2026

Updated:

The Casino Rewards portfolio in Canada is smaller in 2026 than most websites lead you to believe. Right now, there are only a few sites that accept new players, and we’ve written this guide to help you find them.

Let’s find out together what these casinos have to offer, but most importantly, which ones they are!

Only 7 Brands Are Actually Licensed for Ontario

We have some news that’s sure to surprise you. Take note! Only 7 Casino Rewards member sites are AGCO-licensed in Ontario’s regulated iGaming market. Did you know that?

Take a look at these names:

  • Captain Cooks
  • Golden Tiger
  • Luxury
  • Zodiac
  • Casino Classic
  • Grand Mondial
  • Yukon Gold

These are the ones we’re talking about! The other 22 casinos in the group operate solely under a license granted by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. Don’t worry what they’re doing is legal, but we’re talking about a different regulatory framework.
Kahnawake, administered by the Hawk Council, is the jurisdiction responsible for issuing online licenses. It has been around since 199, but we can say that it does not offer the same level of security.
You may not realize it now, or tomorrow, or even a week from now, but when something goes wrong on a casino website, you won’t have the same support in resolving the dispute.

The Same 7 Brands Are Now Pursuing Alberta Too

It doesn’t stop there. The year 2026 brought another change: the launch of the regulated market in Alberta. Well, this is when those same seven brands I mentioned above registered with the AGLC, under the umbrella of their parent company: Apollo Entertainment Limited.

Don’t rush to sign up! Take a break, grab a cold drink, and keep in mind that even now, as we’re writing this article in mid-July the casinos haven’t started operatin in Alberta yet. This isn’t an intentional omission; it’s just that they have to go through the two main stages before they can actually acept players that is, you and everyone else who’s interested.

I’m checking right now and see that they’ve completed the first stage, but not the second, so I can’t treat this as a problem that’s already been resolved. I think it will take a few more weeks from the publication of this article until they’re up and running. Stay tuned!

What Casino Rewards Group Actually Means for You

From what we’ve told you so far, you can draw a simple conclusion. Right now, there are only 7 casinos with regulated licenses, right? The rest operate under the Kahnawake license.

If you live in Alberta, you’ll have to be patient a little longer! The 7 brands are registered but aren’t active yet. If you check back on our website in a few weeks, we’ll update the information as soon as the casinos get the green light.

For all other players in other provinces, we have just one answer. Kahnawake-licensed Rewards casinos remain the only option, okay?

Let’s move on to a practical check so you can understand how it all works. Choose a Casino Rewards casino and check the information at the bottom of the website. Do you see an AGCO or iGaming Ontario registration number? If so, that’s great! It’s a good casino!

No Major New Brand Launches to Report in 2026

We want to be honest right to the end. We, too, have seen numerous articles discussing Casino Rewards. You’ve seen them too, haven’t you? Well, so far there hasn’t been any actual launch of a new brand or any relaunch.

The real news for 2026 has to do solely with the regulation we mentioned above. Remember?

We know, you were probably expecting the launch of a spectacular new site, and we’re sorry to disappoint you. What has truly changed is which of the group’s existing brands can actually be used.

The KingCasinoBonus CA team and I will continue to monitor what happens for the rest of 2026. Will Ontario continue to add new operators? Will the Alberta market keep growing? Check back on our site from time to time, and you’ll hear it straight from me, the editor of this site.
